I guess RiffTrax gets a taste of what its like to have to wait to find out whats coming up...

Wow! Great transcript!

 Clap clap!

Still no real closure on the whole "Are Mike and Joel bitter "Amok Time" style enemies now" question, but still. Fun!

I think this photo shows where they stand on that.

Yes, yes. It's horrible. My l33+ photoshop skills are lacking.

Nicely done, MB. But you had a perfect window of opportunity at the end when Mike was discussing coffee to remind him of the fact that YOU were the one to relieve him of his used coffee cup way back at the 1999 MST (or SciFi) convention! A cup which I have no doubt is still in your possession! Why oh why did you let that one slide?!?!?

I'm kinda surprised a Coleman Francis "I like Coffee" line didn't come up. Unless it was too obvious.

"It's absolutely fascinating."

That was a good interview.   Very interesting.   I read about Mike Nelson's "coffee geekiness" before, but this interview sums it up well.  So odd.

Yah, actual dialog in an interview.  That's awesome!  I always like getting some behind the scenes info like this.  Sorta like a DVD's commentary tracks.

I've been a fan of MST3K since the second season started on The Comedy Channel, but I never had any Joel vs Mike self-loathing.  I loved them both.  The show evolved and I just went along for the ride.

Thanks Mike and everyone involved.

It's nice and all, but I think it would be more appropriate for one of them to be pushing the other onto a gravity plate.

LadyK, YOU ROCK! And so does Mike. It sounds like you both had a ton of fun. Thank you for sharing it all (finalized version and non-finalized version) with us!

I don't think they hate each other, but it didn't seem like they were best friends when I saw them all get asked (at the Rifftrax live QA.).  They all just said, "no" when asked if they kept in touch.

Well, Mike more said "I've tried emailing Joel a couple of times although he hasn't gotten back to me".

In my ideal Utopian fantasy world, "Professional Detractor of Patrick Swayze" would be a viable career option, perhaps even suggested to you by your high school guidance counselor.

p.s. Great work, MB!
