so was me saying what is making me angry in this thread, that being wwe.
me posting a pic of my cat in the awww thread.
me talking about what was the latest band i saw in the music sub forum.
me doing the games in the board-games subforum.
me going back and forth with someone on why they liked akira and why i didn't like it.(only person that answered why they liked akira as apparently nobody else could)
me mentioning some of my favorite graphic novels in the book subforum....
me saying i want to watch the golden compass movie....
etc....
thats being negative towards everyone?
goog, Let me see if I can clear this up a little bit. In all seriousness, and with all joking aside (rare for me, I know, so please bear with...). The reason I posted the joke in the RARGH thread was because you posted 3 times in a row in the thread about Kennedy (and yes, I get the joke with his name, because that is what he does - v. funny), but you kept posting it after the 1 repeat that he does, and you had that pointy wang picture - it was too hard to resist. I'm only human! Also, we all were having a nice discussion in the fan fiction topic in the other forum, which is kind of what inspired the joke, which I felt was topical. I was going for pointlessly ludicrous, and did not think that anyone would think I was ACTUALLY suggesting that you were gay (not that there's anything wrong with that). See, ranting about the WWE is fine, that is the point of this thread - but repeatedly posted the same thing is what makes it go beyond thread contribution and turn into just an annoying distraction, which is what most of the people get upset about with you. Also, you mentioned your post of your cat in the AWWWW thread - you will notice that nobody insulted you or said anything negative at all to you in that thread when you posted your picture - because you were actually contributing, and not doing anything that people considered to be annoying. And the reason people got upset with you in the Anime thread is because you did not defend your opinion, you just said that Akira sucked, and even when someone posted a nice long explanation of why they liked it, you just posted again and, essentially, said it sucked and they were stupid for liking it (and yes, I know you did not actually say that in words, so please don't take this one point and try to overturn everything else I have said because of this one single item - the insult was implied, not specific). Overall, the posts that you have made in this community have been negative, ill-tempered, and full of non-specific (and occasionally specific) insulting attitudes and comments. Yes, on occasion you try to contribute something, but usually you are insulting, making off-handed rude comments and calling people things that are not insults, but in a way that makes you sound insulting and rude. You have to understand that a great deal of the people here know each other very well, and think highly of each other. Coming in and making random snide comments at topics or people causes a xenophobic reaction. I am not really a member of this community's family either (I've only been here for a little over 2 months), but I like to think that I am vaguely well-thought of, when people remember who I am, and that I am on my way towards acceptance (for whatever acceptance by people I have never met and don't even know what they look like is worth). And for what it is worth, I am sorry that I egged you on in some of the topics - you were annoying, I was bored, and it was kind of funny to see what I considered to be predictable responses. But that kind of behaviour detracts from the subject at hand, and only contributes to the hijacking of peoples' serious (or not serious) conversation topics, so I'm not going to do it anymore. And if I offended you in some real sense by any of the things I said, I apologize. People who are constantly negative just get under my skin, because the internet (and in a lot of cases, the world) is such a shitty place as it is, the last thing we need is people being assholes to each other just because it's anonymous. We would all be better off if we treated everyone with respect - but that only really works if everyone participates, and you really can't blame people for lashing out when you waltz in here, an inexperienced kid in his early 20s, and start acting snide and superior from the get-go. In any case, I won't be posting any more negative comments about you, and I hope that we can all get back to the various subjects at hand, and just enjoy ourselves as a group - which is kind of the point. .Excellent! (as the cheers abound) 100% Right On! I have had a Great Time being here since becoming a member. I have purposely avoided you goog simply to avoid any 'accidental insults' I might post, and then the 'verbal' onslaught starts being aimed in my direction. The few 'Positive' posts you've made don't make up for the mostly Negative majority ones posted by you throughout the forum. Many of us feel like we're 'walking on egg shells' in trying to respond (if we want) to your posts without angering you. If our reasoning only adds to your rage goog, I'll just ignore you, and so will others. As Chaos said, There is Enough Negativity in the world. We don't need it brought here too! We JOKE Here. It's not meant to be Seriously Taken as an Insult directed at anyone! Bottom Line: We've all tried to reason with you. The Admins have now taken notice to you. Nuf Said!

I like Vans... They are usually comfy, and sometimes you can get a decent pair that seems broken in already.
I've had the same pair of Vans for 10 years and they're still comfy as hell and haven't fallen apart on me. To ward off speculation that I'm a slob, they're not my everyday shoes.

Here's something that actually makes me angry. While I frown on talking politics on forums I can't help but share some video clips of my Attorney General trying to bullsh*t his way out of explaining anything. While I'm sure there are quite a few members that don't care for Keith Olbermann I would at least ask you watch the first part of the video with the clips of Attorney General Gonzales making an ass of himself. If you will notice the only times he doesn't have his foot in his mouth are when he's taking one foot out to put the other one in. Rather than try to explain anything he would have been better off presenting a dog chasing it's tail at the hearing. [yt=425,350]vtY-lQaXs6E[/yt] This guy is the main legal adviser to the US government?!?! Simply baffling.

He's even a lousy lawyer....I mean, they get paid to lie convincingly. He can't even do THAT!!! (love me some Keith Olberman!!!) I'm almost to the point where I see what the "Survivalists" who arm themselves against the Goverment were talking about. Minor pet peeve....e-mails like this from Amazon: "We've noticed that customers who have purchased or rated The Complete Thin Man Collection ( The Thin Man / After the Thin Man / Another Thin Man / Shadow of the Thin Man / The Thin Man Goes Home / Song of the Thin Man) or other films in the ( P ) > Powell, William category have also purchased The Thin Man Goes Home on DVD. For this reason, you might like to know that The Thin Man Goes Home will be released on August 7, 2007. You can pre-order yours by following the link below." I've already told them that I own it in a set, so they send me an e-mail that it's coming out....

Yep. I get that all the time. And they'll recommend different editions of the same movie. I bought the double disc set, so clearly, I must want the single disc version and the blu-ray edition!

I get similar ones because I bought the complete journals of Casanova. Now everything Italian, both in English and in Italian that comes out is reccomended to me. But never anything on the subject of Libertinism or general decadence, go figure.
Note to Amazon, just because I like one randy genius doesn't mean I care about some tedious Novel that I'd never read if the author was English.

(haha! joke. hope you guys get it. its an oldy but a goody.) also this is the first topic i remember you in. as your one post and my reply started a lot of people coming in. speaking of! i know what forums are friend. been apart of a-many in my "inexperienced" days. lovely word by the way. in forums you always have your regs how ban together. its why people join forums for the most part. to make friends. i join forums to share opinions. if i make friends......great. if i don't, well i already have friends. hard to believe i know, but the world isn't filled with "lets be nice, except to those who i think are mean" people. some of us can laugh everything off. some of us can argue and brush off what might seem like insults. again i haven't personally gone after anyone. *cough*least i can say that*cough*. you all do what you want though. report and the like. have the mod's say i can't do this though clearly others can, and this "inexperienced" kid will keep on doing nothing wrong. we're all assholes, friend. some of us are just good at it.

Ok Goog, I'm essentially a newbie here as well so I'm not one of those "regulars who ban up against others". Essentially the thing that turns people off to you is the way you phrase things. Of course you can/should have a different opinion on topics but what people dislike is how you discuss your opinions. Now i'm not saying you've never posted a nice polite post, however you'll have to agree that many of your posts consist of attempting to belittle an argument you started. When you go about insulting people you don't become very popular (well at least not in a way you'd want). Go ahead and share you're opinions but there is no need to swear at people or call them drunktared (a new one for me). Remember that everybody has a different opinion and even if you disagree with it, you should, at least, respect it. You have good opinions and if you would merely use civil discourse you could become a valued member. I'm not attacking you or trying to start another arguement but merely sharing some observations i've noticed. And I know you feel like you're being unfairly judged as you're trying to defend yourself in this thread, but what happened earlier in this thread was merely a catalyst for an already needed discussion of your conduct. Just remember that we're all a community here and everyone deserves respect. We will all give it to you if you can give it to us.
