I am still waiting for someone to tell me how venting in the venting thread is trolling.
Also i would like someone to show me where in the rules it's say questioning Obama is trolling.

1) I don't think anyone is saying that you can't question Obama, at least I haven't seen any posts like that. Defending Obama and saying that you can't criticize are 2 different things. I think Obama should be questioned and criticized, just like every other president. He's not superman who can do no wrong.
2) More to the point; you're mad about the money it's costing for the inaugeration. But I'd like to know how much other inaugerations have costed in the past, accounting for inflation. I truly have no idea, but I doubt it's that much different. Either way, it IS a historic day that a black man is president, and it's something worth celebrating. I'm not saying he should be president because he's black, but the fact that a black man is getting elected president is important, especially when you put it into historical context and see that a short 50 years ago, it would have been illegal for Obama to take a pee next to you in the same bathroom. We've come a long way in america, and it's worth celebrating.
That explains it nicely. I would like to vent that Bush is leaving office, and he thinks the major thing he did wrong vis a vis Hurricane Katrina is not land his plane in Baton Rouge or New Orleans. I want to vent that an someone this delusional can get into office, get re-elected, and not get impeached. It's the damn skull and bones, I tells ya! and there was no conspiracy about his getting re-elected. The majority of this country was just acting very stupid for a day. |

Unless you count what went on in Ohio with yet another State Sec. who was also Bush's campaign manager in that state - we need a Federal Election law about that - not accepting voter registrations because of the weight of the paper they were on, for example.
