How does one "promote the authenticity" of clothes?
"Look, it has arm holes, it is not lunch meat" I think that means "this is not knock off crap you find from street vendors" Right, I figured...but how do you prove that? You get certificates from The Gap that swears nobody over the age of 10 worked on this item of clothing? Good point sir. You win this round.

Counterfeit products are all over the place down here.. Clothing brand names, colones, DVD's, and much more.. All of our items are purchased from authorized distributors in bulk in the U.S. and then we have the difficult task of getting it through customs in Mexico and on to our boutique.. And of course 'me' looking as American as possible for added proof that our products aren't counterfeit I dont know if I want to live in a world where you stand for "all that is american"

Actually, It's Mexico Customs that actually 'promotes' the counterfeit stuff; cause it's made in Mexico or Central & south American countries..
Most of our authentic marks are made, of course, in China which is banned in Mexico so we have to cut off or remove any 'Made in China' tags before shipment, otherwise we'll be levied hefty duty and customs fees..

At least you're not in Dallas where the Cowboys supposedly have great talent, but always seem to choke when it counts the most.

Please, nobody, but nobody (OK, mike5150 or Nunyerbiz can, but it's the same one) can compete against me when it comes to bad home teams, especially with the record breaking season my home town team is looking to have.

Just a repost from my vacation thread.. Well, this is just Fuckin great.. The battery in my Blackberry Bold went bad on me last night, and of course, noone here has one in this part of Mexico cause its so new.. I knew it was not a very strong battery as it didn't last more than 3 hours of the 4 hour flight from Charlotte to Mexico City, but now that it's totally shot, I'm in a real bind trying to contact anyone from AT&T or Blackberry, but when I was able to contact them with my wife's phone, they said they won't ship a replacement battery to me in Mexico! A local TelMex rep is going to Mexico City this week for special orders, but there's no guarantee he can find a replacement battery.. I won't know till possibly Saturday.. After talking w/ Blackberry about this issue, they can't ship a battery to Mexico either nor is there any compatible batteries for the Bold with other model Blackberry's.. I'll be filing a complaint about this for sure Plus getting reimbursed for All services I no longer have access to.. DAMMIT

Well, looks like my Blackberry did a self diagnostic after removing the battery for a day and so far; so good, but I'm still at the mercy of limited internet on my main computer due to the wife's niece turning off their modem without notice..

Can't you make them a sign with your picture on it reading 'DO NOT TURN THIS OFF OR THIS MAN WILL HUNT YOU DOWN'?

Yesterday I was taking a big package to someone's door and I noticed that inside their garage there was a dead, frozen dog with it's head possibly cut off and its ribs sticking out of the side of its body. I dropped the package off and slipped on the bloody ice outside of the garage and landed in some of it flat on my back. Just when I think I'm the strangest person, someone tops me.
