... . . . The Pogues . . .Awesome concert! I've always heard that The Pogues were pretty hit or miss when it came to their live shows. Actually, i suppose the band is always great and it's Shane MacGowan who can't be trusted. But he sounded... well, like Shane MacGowan sounds. And he managed to remember all the words, and didn't fall over drunk on stage. So that made for a really fun show. It was the second night in a row for them here in the city, but i certainly didn't feel like we got anything less from the band. They were really rockin' for a bunch of old geezers! Anyway, i'm totally stoked that i finally got to see The Pogues live in concert... and they didn't let me down! -Rude Wow. I had no idea that Shane was back with the Pogues. I saw them twice back in the 90's, once with Joe Strummer filling in on vocals (complete with 2 or three Clash songs), and once on St Patrick's day. I've never seen Shane live yet, but I guess I'd better hurry up while he's still alive.

... Alice Cooper's Theatre Of DeathCompletely awesome show! Seriously one of the best i've ever seen... and i'm not even a huge Alice Cooper fan or anything. In fact, i cheated a little bit and made a playlist of all the songs that i'd heard would be part of the show. So i was ready going in, but even if i hadn't known all the songs... the performance alone was amazing! Alice had his head cut off, he was hanged, injected with a giant syringe, put in a straight jacket, impaled inside an iron madien... and he kept coming back and singing one awesome song after another! Freakin' sweet! -Rude

I just went and saw Kevin Smith. He did his thing for 3 hours and it was worth every penny. That was so awesome. Mewes and Mosier were there too.

Well, two movies in the pipeline and one getting ready to come out. I'd say he's good, and that's great for me.

CRAP! I completely forgot about the show! Dang it. I would've loved to have gone. It was at the Palladium right?

I think the last show I went to there was Stretch Arm Strong on their Revolution Transmission tour.

Whereabouts are you? If you're in the Worcester area, my band's playing at Beatnik's on Saturday night. Heh.
