Saw like three episodes of that, maybe. Who on earth would I be? The characters were based on popular Nintendo games, so you could probably summon that knowledge from there. Or be an inanimate object. That seems to be a popular choice lately.

Any videogame character will suffice... ...Captain N, Mother Brain/Dr. Wiley, and the characters associated w/ the latter are the only characters off-limits. The sky's the limit when it comes to who you'd like to roleplay.

That sounds like a lot of fun. Mines very close to wrapping up. A turnaround is possible but I think it's gotten so anti-climactic that everyone is bored with it.

Nah I can't be bothered with that site, I tend to find I lose interest about a quarter of the way through.

I don't want to piss on anybody's Wheaties, but I really wish we could have just a regular old game of mafia once in a while. The role playing stuff has its moments, but it mostly serves to confuse the hell out of everybody and make people not take the game very seriously.
That said, dibs on Glass Joe.

Come now, I thought your portrayal of the Hostess Cherry Fruit pie was brilliant. Clever use of a catchphrase (Hello. I am a pie.) cemented you as the breakout character of that game. Until you were eaten.

Hey, that's a pretty good idea. I don't want to piss on anybody's Wheaties, but I really wish we could have just a regular old game of mafia once in a while. The role playing stuff has its moments, but it mostly serves to confuse the hell out of everybody and make people not take the game very seriously. Until you were eaten. Love the flaky crust. Love the fruit filling.

While themes are fun, sometimes it will cause people unfamilliar to said theme to be reluctant to join. That's why I was thinking of doing a more generic overall theme, similar to what Team RAD's doing. My initial premise is sort of loosely based on the videogame franchise Viewtiful Joe, the movies Tron, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and maybe The Last Action Hero as well as the whole 'What If?'comic series from Marvel. That being that there exists a reality where absolutely any and every type of fictional character exists and interacts with one another. That includes TV shows, Movies Comic books, Videogames, Anime, Literature (including webcomics) Cartoons, Etc...
This way anyone who wants to play Mafia can be his or her favorite fictional character. This will not only encourage participation, but hopefully foster the desire to roleplay and otherwise 'get into character', which is much easier to do if its a character that you're familiar with...
