Nope. Just intrigued by this subject - Always have. There really is no concrete evidence to prove either side of the argument is correct Undecided

edit: typing global warming into google was pretty lazy on my part but clearly there is enough photo evidence to "prove" the simple fact of global warming. The problem is people dont want to believe it so they choose not too.

I just prefer the 'Climate change' terminology to cover the whole aspect of things: The warming of some areas of the Earth, and cooling of other areas Grin

Actually, more and more people are questioning Global warming...Man made or not, and with good reason. Now scientist cannot figure out why the earth has been cooling for the past 8 years. All to late sadly. Laws are on the books, we REFUSE to drill for our own oil, and the green movement has made billions off of it.

We mainly keep oil reserves when the countries we buy it from run out. Having these natural resources saved up for when we REALLY need it. Just because you want to pay a Dollar less at the gas tank at the expense of our national security in the future theeeen..... All that green hippy stuff was sort of pushed onto this original idea.

But Climate Change shouldnt be something your able to debate. Its either scientific fact or not. And you can side with 99% of scientists or not.

It is not. Many scientific "facts" have changed though our lives. One fact is carbon output has increased and the global temp has dropped. It's not so much the temp of the globe as it is the cause of it. This is what we base our laws on. I didn't say anything about the reserves at all, I said we are not drilling for oil because of the MAN MADE hatred of the oil companies. I will agree that this has become a total right/left thing, with the left thinking that the right blindly follows rush/beck/hannity and the right thinking the left blindly follows gore.I don't understand why the people that hate the fact that oil companies make such a profit, have no problem with the green movement making so much money.  Meanwhile, we are struggling to get by, and we are struggling. If you think the 5.00 a gallon gas prices have nothing to do with where we are now, I strongly disagree.  As far as the hippies...if you want to buy bags for your groceries or buy an electric car to save money, that's fine. But don't say I'm a bad person for having a pick up truck (which has the same engine as an SUV)  We are now stuck in a situation where we have no backup plan in place. If we can come up with a different source of power that will be great...but lets use what we KNOW will work while we research it. This idea was brought up 7 years ago and people that disagreed with it said "yeah, but that will take 10 yrs."   Where would we be now?
