So... With the DVD and Blu-Ray out in a couple of weeks, what are the chances of seeing a Rifftrax for this one? I'll admit I haven't seen it yet, and what seems ultra-annoying is that the Blu-Ray Director's Cut isn't coming out over here.  May have to import...

Very riffable - you have the "greatest comic ever" theme, costume superhero theme, buncha unknown actors theme...

But it's pretty long as I recall.  I'd definitely want the full 3 guys and maybe even a guest.

It wouldn't be high on my list of choices, simply because of the length.

I love the comic movie riffs myself, but I know a lot of people are pretty over them too.

What I want is branching on the BD. I don't want the director's cut. I want the theatrical cut, and I want it on BD.  I don't want that "Black Freighter" shit in the movie.

I forget, is the Black Freighter stuff added in for the Director's Cut? I know it'll be an extra on the disc along with Under the Hood, but the only scenes I know were added back into the movie for the DC is Hollis Mason's stuff.

I don't know; I haven't seen any detailed information yet on what the Director's cut includes.

Had a quick look on some DVD sites, and it's 28 minutes longer than the theatrical cut, but it doesn't include the Black Freighter footage.

Well, that's good at least.

Anyone else find these 3 hour movies hard to get through?

So long as I'm interested by the whole thing I don't mind how long it is. Though moments that would be boring in a shorter film do seem to drag on forever in the 180+ minute ones.

Especially the LOTR EEs. I like the extra stuff, but I have to watch the two discs days (if not weeks) apart.

Well, that's kinda like asking if a 3 hour BJ is hard to be on the receiving end of, if the movie's good.  If it's bad, 3 minutes or 3 hours is too much.  If it's good, keep it coming.

Watching Lord of the Rings is more like giving Ron Jeremy a 3 hour Dirty Sanchez.
