Just watched the Scientology episode. I downloaded it a while back, but never got around to watching it. Man, was that hilarious. The ending was perfect, with Stan screaming to sue him and the credits full of John and Jane Smith.

The newest south park "Fatbeard" is so great. So very great. This last run was very solid. The only one I didn't really get into was the Economy one. Other than that so very great.

It was very funny, but I thought a little insensitive. I also thought the whole thing with the judges pleasuring themselves during the beauty pageant was just... sickening. I think Matt and Trey can make great comedy without being so overtly explicit. Then again... maybe they aren't talented enough to reach that level of subtlety without retaining the same amount of humor(I'd love for them to prove me wrong though).

I didn't find it to be anything but South Park business as usual. The gag with the judges was just as sickening as the reality shows of the pageant contests that they were parodying, they just of course took it a few steps over the top.
On a side note they have a contest running for this part of the season. Every week there is a hidden alien in the show somewhere and you have till Thursday night by nine EST to submit an entry with the correct spot the alien appears. Grand Prize is you get animated and put in the premiere episode next season.

I remember seeing a poster on a wall with an alien in one of the scenes that I thought was odd (can't remember if it was this week or last), guess that explains it. I liked the ripping on the ghost hunters and some of the chipotle stuff, but the rest was too "easy", nothing that loads of stand up comics haven't said before... Fatbeard was a good one, at least there was some thought behind it.

I don't know, I really enjoyed this week's episode. From ChipotleAway to the Zelda Rubenstein character...

I agree. I thought it was pretty funny. I kinda expected them to address the MJ's death.

I haven't seen any of the new season yet but i think they said pretty much all they have to say about Jackson in the other episodes. The only thing i can think of that they could do would be to going after the way the media behaved, but even the media seems to have calmed down now so it would seem a little dated.

The thing that got me laughing the most tonight, aside from the musical bit, was the throwaway "Balloon Stunt a Hoax" story in the paper. It just got a moment of screentime, but it just amused me a great deal.
Plus the return of an old running gag. Dios mio!

Maybe that explains why there is one in the John Edwards episode. At one point while they're at his show, you see one on the leg of the person behind them.
