Long time fan, first time poster!!!! My husband and I would really, really enjoy seeing Pandorum Riffed. That movie is an hour and forty-eight minutes of gold, just begging to be Riffed. Oh please oh please oh please.  Grin

This movie is either an unholy mess, the trailer is edited so that things are out of context or both.....

Hmm, all I'd really seen of this before were posters and so forth, but after seeing the trailer I'd expect this would make a good riff.  Might have to take a closer look sooner or later.

And yes, Plastic, it's just that it's an unholy mess. The movie is fantastic in that horrible, why-the-hell-am-I-still-watching-this kind of way. I'd say check it out, but the only way I'll ever watch it again is if they Riff it. Which definitely says how much I love those guys, that I'd be willing to waste the hour and forty minutes of my life AGAIN just for them.  Smiley  But, no, the preview isn't really out of context. It's just that awful.

I loved Pandorum. It was a hot mess, but a fun hot mess. I'm in for the riffing.

So, thats people who like it and people who hate it nominating it. Sounds like a winner.

The only difference it seems between this movie and System Shock 2 is the lack of a self aware A.I. presence on board taunting you at every step.

Ha! I never thought of that, but you're very right about the System Shock 2 thing. Even more reason!!  Smiley And I'm glad even people that liked it agree that it would make a good riff. I actually almost PREFER movies I like being riffed. It's fun to see what amazing things those guys can come up with. And my husband and I do our own riffing of movies CONSTANTLY, whether we enjoy the movie or not. Actually, when they were doing MST3000 I was that way, too. When I heard This Island Earth was going to be their movie choice for the MST movie, I almost peed my pants. Azn I actually really enjoyed that movie BEFORE, and now that movie is just pure gold to me. Even in the original movie without the MST guys there, I still shout out "I'm gonna curl up in his sock drawer....and sleep for DAYS" every time the scene where the assistant is saying goodbye to Cal comes on.    Cheesy

Well, the movie could have been made a lot cooler if it was a movie based on the System Shock games. SHODAN would be interesting to see in a live action sense.
