10.harry potter and the goblet of fire

I've been sitting on a half-finished iRiff of that for months now. The first recording is actually not bad through about the first half, but then the quality really goes to hell. It starts to get too quiet and the timing is off (it was off when we recorded it). I finally decided it couldn't be salvaged and we'd need to do a re-record, but now we're both busy with school. Even if Rifftrax beats us to the punch, I wanna finish and release it. It'd be a shame not to, and the odds of the two riffs being alike are probably pretty slim.

You should definitely finish when you get the chance. It sounds like you put a lot of work into it. The Harry Potter riffs are big sellers, but I think the reason they haven't done Goblet of Fire yet is because there's just so much material they've already covered in the first three movies. I remember Kevin saying in an interview that it was getting really difficult to make fresh jokes about Hagrid. Best to go after other films for a while and come back to it when it's fresh again.

Since they're riffing on existing DVDs, none of the movies are edited.

I agree with The Tingler!!!!! 1959 Vincent Price...it's on right TCM now.  It has so much potential.  There is a great scene of Mr. Price tripping on acid.

It is about time for some Classic Bond.  Especially Moore-era.

Yes, the Quiptracks commentary is very funny. I recommend it.

If you're looking for riffs of the first two Star Trek films, you should check these out:

This isn't a riff per say, but here's a couple Nostalgia Chick videos about That Bruce Willis asteroid flick:

I just watched On Her Majesty's Secret Service with George Lazenby as Bond.  It's so classically Bond and so very very bad.  My vote would be for Mike & the guys to riff this.

10. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.  I want the series to be complete
9. The Negotiator.
8. The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.  Another series to have fun with
7.  Any and all Harry Potters
6. James Bond Quantum of Solace.  You can't go wrong with a Bond film
5. Batman Begins.  They riffed the old school, now to riff the new school.
4. The Bourne Supremecy.  Another series that needs to be completed
3. Terminator Salvation.  actually, any of the terminator movies could use a good riff.
2. G.I. Joe.  The movie wa so predictable.  love it
1. NEW MOON!!!!.  It has to be done.  I saw it and I couldn't stop riffing it.  this is a must.

This is actually my favorite Bond movie.  Don't really see how it is "so very very bad".

Something like Moonraker or Die Another Day would make for better Rifftrax fodder.

I like OHMSS, but I can see its flaws--most notably the whole Hillary/Dinner scene thing, with its terrible double entendres (the women actually ooh when it's suggested that Bond has four balls, instead of recoiling in horror).  The stuff with Bond and Tracy is always good, and the car and ski chases are wonderful.

I basically picture Bond as Lazenby when I read the books.
