Folks there's just two more days until the sequel to Twilight, New Moon launches in  theaters. So step right up and place your bets as to how many iriffs there's going to be on that sucker. I'll give you an over under of 5 since I'm too lazy to make a betting table myself. So step right up and place your bets on what's likely to be a horrible movie.

Of course, don't you know anything about science?

I don't expect any, actually.  I think the reason you had three groups do one last movie is because the movie was so unbelievably ripe for riffing and no one expected Rifftrax to do it.  At least with me it was a total shock.  Now because the Rifftrax was so successful you know absolutely that Rifftrax will have it done the day the film comes out.  So why do one if you know Rifftrax is going to do one that's much better?  Yeah there's that theory that iRiffs sell better when there's already an official Rifftrax but I don't think that's really the case.  Twilight was an exception.

Sorry to be a know-it-all but there is at least four iRiffs for Twilight.  That's in addition to the official Rifftrax for it.  One of which came out not only after the official Rifftrax but months after the first three iRiffs did.  There will very likely be at least three, probably more, iRiffs for it.

As evinced by my post showcasing our trailer, you can bet on there being AT LEAST one, barring accident or injury, from us. Twilight was by far our most successful sale and we're very excited about playing with the sequel.

Hmm, you're right.  I didn't know there was a fourth iRiff made later on, I only remember the three that all came out at the same time after the movie did.

I also didn't think about the same groups continuing on with the sequel.  I need to stop posting on forums late at night.

Looking forward to yours, Michael.  I really liked your Twilight one.

Moleman:

1. Thanks!
2. The fourth group was, I believe, The Angry Gibbons. It came out maybe a month or two ago?

Angry Gibbons released a TwiRiff in September.  It was good.

I don't plan on recording a full-blown iRiff of the movie (I already have two written scripts that I'm too lazy to record), but I will offer my services as a contributor. Here's my own riffed trailer for anyone who's interested.

WOO HOO!!!  That's good news!

If I'm not around this board when you end up releasing it, send me a PM! (I fade in and out posting here depending on how busy work keeps me)
