Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time

One more week! Who else is excited? I have yet to be disappointed by any of the games in the series, and this seems to be no exception. I hope I have time to finish Uncharted 2, otherwise it'll be interrupted by this.

I have refused to buy a PS3 because I get all preachy about how corporations should conduct business, and Sony's been on my shit list.  Partly because they were charging too much for the console, and they've been so stupid about proprietary formats.  Ratchet and Clank has been the one franchise that's really made me question my decision to not buy one........but I just ordered a PS3 yesterday.  This will be the only game I play for a while.

At least you got it for $300. I bought mine almost a year ago, before any kind of price drop. Don't regret it though, since I've had a ton of fun with it the past year. You'll probably want to play Tools of Destruction and the downloadable game Quest for Booty before this new one, since they're part all part of a trilogy.

Waiting for my preordered copy!  I had never played any Ratchet & Clank games on PS1 or PS2, started with Tools of Destruction on PS3 and have played through it twice already.

These have always been my relaxer games after losing patience with MGS or some other relentless game.

I think I will need Crack in Time since I am also waiting for my copy of Demon's Souls to be delivered, a game that sounds insanely challenging at the least.

The trophies are pretty easy in this game.  The only three I'm missing now is the "Beat it on Hard", "Beat it in Challenge Mode", and "Gotta get them all."

Having major trouble getting the My Blaster Runs Hot trophy. The highest I managed was 9100. Other than that all I need is the hard and challenge mode trophies (along with the all other trophies one) and a bunch of skill points.
Overall it's been a pleasant experience.

The way I got "My Blaster Runs Really Really Hot" is get a second player and blast away.  You share lives, so be careful.

Oh and 100% here    Hard wasn't that hard after beating the game twice.
