Too bad there couldn't be a way to do a national screening of the film (which would be how Rifftrax gets paid) and then broadcast the audio over local radio....

There's streaming audio on the internet but you have to have the higher end cell phones (and great phone plans) for that.

We did the RiffTrax LIVE: Plan 9 from Outer Space, witch was a Fathom Event.  It was a lot of fun, and I agree it's not going to happen but o-well, I continue to dram.

When they do those screenings of Twilight just before New Moon opens, I am severely tempted to head to a theater with the riff on my ipod.

I know it won't work and will start to drift with me powerless to stop it (unless I memorized both movie and riff, something I don't want to do), and yet I'm still tempted.

I thought that Battlefield Earth was a spectactular dramatic masterpiece with the best acting and cinematography of any movie ever, and it got riffed!!!! (breaks out into tears)
