Conor,
I recently relocated to the planet Omicron Persei 7.  Will there be showings there?
Conor said that there will only be showings on Omicron Persei 8.

Unfortunately, they'll get it a thousand years late.

Tell me about it, I was there one time and I missed the last episode of my favorite show "Single Female Lawyer".

Single female lawyer, having lots of sex!

Anyway I think the trailer starts showing in theaters this Friday. Keep your eyes peeled when you go to see 2012*!

*Not actually sure it'll be playing in front of 2012.

I already got two tickets... one for me, and the other most likely for the gal who lives next door to me.   Wink

There is no girl who lives next door to you.  Admit it your date is a cat with a skin problem.

Alright... a cinema in Troy, AL has the technology to show Fathom events and has tried to before, but apparently NCM has "refused to allow them to show Fathom events" (maybe because there wouldn't be much business for them?) But the theater's manager gave me a phone number to bug about it and asked me to request that they allow the cinema pick up Fathom stuff.

I don't know all the specifics, but I'd guess that a theatre would have to use NCM for onscreen advertising in order to be able to do Fathom (which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NCM) events.

Oh yeah that comes out this weekend.  I'll let you know.

Though I might just wait until next Sunday and see it while I'm out of town ducking my family.

Well, I got my ticket. Personally, I'm hoping they do "Santa's Punch and Judy" and the Russian animated version of The Nutcracker. Although the latter might be a bit too long to be considered a short.

Any other ideas?

I'll be there LIVE in Escondido (or as I like to call it; E-diddy) to watch the season's riffing.  I reserved the "Tommy Wiseau" balcony seats, purchased my opera glasses and will be bringing some very special guests.  That rather stoic, understated performing actress that played the villianess in Troll 2.  She offered to bring milk for everyone and even make some popcorn... sweet gal.  Also Chris Tucker has promised to make an appearance.  Even though Chris has the most melodic, soothing, non-annoying shrill voice known to mankind, it probably would be safer for those wearing eyeglasses or monocles to leave them in your car.  Last but not least, the very sensitive "Tinker", from Roadhouse, will read his own free-wheeling style of poetry.  If we're lucky he'll do his loving tribute to Dalton, called "A bear done fell on me".  Lisa was invited but, she made up some excuse about needing to find another picture of a spoon.  That Lisa is CLEAVING ME ASUNDER!!!

Anyone else here going to the show in E-diddy?  I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow Riffies & Msties.  Gotta go now, I've gotta finish these patent papers.  Have a Ben Murphy Thanksgiving, you turkeys!
