Yeah, basically more of the same. Although it's nice to have a level in broad daylight. And that machete was freaking awesome! Taking zombie's heads clean-off with one swing... totally sweet.
The new AI Director is kind of a bastard though. We breezed through normal, and upped the difficulty a bit. It wasn't super-mega-hard, but they were throwing Tanks and Witches and all those new infected at us. At one point a Jockey was waiting in the doorway to the safe house, and there was a Hunter right inside... inside the freaking safe house! I don't even think that's fair!
Should be fun though. I was never much of a fan of multiplayer games, but i had a great time playing this demo.

Not sure if this was just a known fact or not, but the demo is not just for pre-orders, and is up on Steam.

This happened to me on super hard mode. I ran into the safehouse, slammed the door behind me and POW, Hunter ripping my intestines out. |

I wasn't impressed, though I understand it's a work in progress.
not enough enemies.
map way too long.
Waiting for the bodies to dissappear before the ammo drops really slows down progress.

I almost made it last night. Three of us made it to the tower and turned off the alarm, but the AI Director just said "fuck 'em anyway" and threw another horde at us the moment our feet hit the ground again to finish us off. Has anyone played with the jukebox in the bar in the first half of the demo? |

Yeah, you can listen to them under \sound\music\flu\jukebox in the demo folder. There are two songs from Jonathan Coulton. Then there are another two from a band I can't place. Sounds like something you'd hear on the Roadhouse soundtrack. They're actually quite good.

Yeah, that AI is a bastard, hopefully it'll be toned down a bit, but knowing Rob's penchant for "Super Expert Up the Butt" Mode I may never know what it's like to play on easy.

Ran through 3 of the 5 campaigns although I only escaped alive once in the finales. Mud people a goddamned creepy. Fun game and quite a step up visually on the maps.
