Already a Part 2? I haven't even played Part 1 yet! Although, this looks like a far more interesting game than the first one...something about the more suburban setting, I think. Although, since it's a sequel, shouldn't it really be called "Left 5 Dead?"

If you've got a good enough computer I would advise everyone to get it for PC mainly because of all of the custom campaigns made by people that are free. I've lost count of all the ones I've played that are pretty decent. There's a lot of crappy ones out there as well fortunately I've only played a couple of them. I'm waiting for a couple to still be released one is I Hate Mountains and the other is based out of real areas around and in Tokyo. Looks very promising, the only huge obstacle for the guys making the campaigns is crappy and broken tools Valve has provided to make the maps. www.l4dmaps.com

I think it might be available only for people that have per-ordered it. I could be wrong though.

...
My friend (the one who bought me the first game) actually paid the five bucks at Gamestop, and preordered this for me. Then he sent me a copy of the demo confirmation code via email... It's like he's getting a commission from Valve or something! So anyway, i'll be playing online tomorrow night if anyone else is doing the whole insane-L4D-fanatic-early-demo thing.
Oh yeah... i'm on the 360.

So apparently they originally scheduled the release of the demo for people that had pre-purchased the game for yesterday and 1pm PST, then they said that was a typo and they meant 11pm PST. Now they're saying they'll release it today at 1pm PST.

Played the demo, nothing really new. Just some different character, enemies, health items and weapons (melee weapons!). The graphics are pretty sweet as well but not a huge difference from the first game. Just a bit more polished.
