OK trying to use the flash button to show a video here. Tried an f4v... comes up blank. going to try an flv next. Any pointers? I would have deleted this post, but I can't find a way to do that. Sorry for wasting peoples' time.

I notice your trying to use the flash tag for the message board. I'm guessing it will only work for youtube-like videos. I don't think you're going to have much luck with this by streaming directly from a file location. I haven't done a whole lot of this kind of thing but I'm thinking you would need an advanced server to allow streaming capabilities.

2.) Then, as per suggestion, I put a URL to one of our YouTube videos. nothing.

Yeah I've had issues trying to get YouTube stuff embedded a bunch of times in the past. I imagine I'll have the same issue once I try and post a trailer for our next iRiff as well. But that's why we keep Tripe around right?  |
