Again I ask the question.. Is Anyone else having issues ripping this one?? DVD Shrink is pulling up almost 90 titles ranging in time around 2 1/2 hours When I use MAGIC DVD Ripper, I select Title 03 and seems to get the whole movie (I think) but there's no end credits.. Any input would be Greatly Appreciated.. Yeah. Major issues. Word is this DVD has some newfangled protection scheme. DVDFab just came out with a new version today but it's not working for me. So, basically, we have to be patient and wait for the devs to solve the problem and release a new version. You can keep an eye out here for DVDFab: http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=706Yeah, I just tried the latest DVD Fab version 6.0 and it's not getting it..

They have to realize that the key audience for this movie is retards. Why did they put the latest copy protection on the disc, when you can't expect these retards to break even the most meager copy protection? Maybe they put it on there specifically for the sophisticated Rifftrax types.

Attention Walmart Shoppers!
Walmart is selling a Revenge of the Fallen "Big Screen" 2 disc Blu-ray set that includes additional footage from the IMAX showing. This footage is said to be played within the film. For fans of Revenge of the Fallen (They're out there!) This is good. For Rifftrax fans, this could be bad, as I haven't found any info on whether these scenes can be turned off.
SO, since me and Tyrant are big enough TF fans that we can't live without the extra footage, AND big enough Rifftrax fans that we're willing to rent a movie we already own just to watch it Riffed, we're gonna take that bullet for you! I'm going out right now to purchase our Walmart Exclusive copy (Which seems to be one of the cheaper Blu-ray versions out there by all reports). I won't be able to play with it until late, late tonight at the earliest, but if nobody else has reported on this potential issue by then, I'll pop on after I've sniffed around the options menus and let everyone know whether it's possible to turn off the extra footage and make this sync up.
I looked at the Walmart Blu-ray and I did not see any option to turn off the IMAX scenes. I will note that the WM blu-ray box shows a 150 minute run time while a non-WM DVD shows a 149 minute run time. So I'm guessing that "outlook not good" here. A side note: Amazon is matching the $19.99 price for their Blu-ray, so next gen users worried about synching might want to pick a copy up from Amazon instead.

And I can confirm it. If you get the extended Walmart version, you're watching the extra footage whether you like it or not. Walmart version=Not good for Rifftrax for sure.
Me and Tyrant are now trying to decide if we're crazy enough to buy a second set just to get the theatrical version (And maybe a Best Buy Optimus Bust) or only crazy enough to rent it. :^)

I take it the extended version is for Blu Ray only? I plan on getting the DVD version for the Riff.

They have it for standard DVD too. If you're buying from Walmart be on the lookout for a "2 disc Big Screen Edition" sticker. I'm pretty sure they're selling the theatrical cut there too.

Anyone else remember the early days of Rifftrax when version irregularity wasn't such a persistent problem?
Maybe Hollywood knows all about Rifftrax and is trying to fuck with us by secretly slipping in extra minutes of footage.

I think Rifftrax is much more likely to be releasing their commentary on the same week as the DVD is released, so it's easier for these mismatch problems to pop up.

It would be nice if those 2 Disc sets had both the extended and theatrical cuts. Now I don't know which one to buy. Maybe Hollywood knows all about Rifftrax and is trying to fuck with us by secretly slipping in extra minutes of footage.
