I still haven't figured out how to make the subs on D-War or anything.  But the riffing was still awesome when I didn't have a clue what they were referencing!

i find it funnier. during red dawn, i didn't even know there were supposed to be subtitles and assumed mike was just ascribing dialogue to the characters.

Haven't watched it all yet (have to go to bed!) but....so far I love it.

And dare I say that I started thinking about MST3K and Sword and the Dragon....about how they were talking about how much more elaborate the film was in the first few minutes that most of the other ones they'd done put together.....

The opening of this movie with the attack on the village is pretty cool.

7/10 from me.

I'm sorry to say it, but I thought this was unusually weak. Maybe I just had too high hopes for this one, but I don't think that's it. While there were some memorable bits, much of it just felt phoned in and not partcularly clever. To be honest, much of the time I found the movie itself funnier than their riffing.

The "Kevin's Colin" bit was great though.

I thought it was definitely funnier with the subtitles, because I could figure out what was going on.  Not that it helped the movie's plot all that much, but it made it more obvious what the riffs were about.

Yeah, that's why I try to include subtitles whenever I'm making my reauthors. I'd just settle for closed-caption, but the TV in my bedroom is so old, it doesn't have CC on it. Which is kinda funny since my wife got it from a couple with a half-deaf husband.

So yeah, subtitles are neat.

Hah, when the first battle sequence started I couldn't stop laughing. That was really bad. The RiffTrax was great though. 9.
