No it's not crap, it's actually a very good blade in certain circumstances, like any blade. It does however have significant shortcomings that people who've only really seen the fantasy version of the sword seem to be unaware of.  So, in other words...  |

Oh I thought you randomly assigned different numbers for all the weapons for 5 rounds beforehand. Like:
Katana: Round 1, 8. Round 2, 3. Round 3, 7. Round 4, 10. Round 5, 5.
And it was just blind luck as to the defensive strength of whichever weapon they chose.
(if this has been the case the whole time, sorry, sometimes I arrive late, if you get my meaning)

Nope they start of with a defensive and offensive rating. At each round the swords drop one point off of one of those depending on what it was doing the last round (so if it was the offensive sword the first round it loses one defensive point the next and vice versa). My assigning of point s was actually based on the real strengths and weaknesses of the swords in question as far as that can be reflected in a 10 point scale. |
