Also one of my favorites. I Accuse falls into a very select group of movies that I make fun of: Movies that had potential. The thing was, it could have made for an interesting story had it been done right. A decent cast and script re-write could have done the movie wonders.

And I know I'm alone in this, but I actually didn't find Kitty's songs half bad. Yeah okay, "kissway to the promiseland" is a stupid line, but the song "Where Can You Be?" was actually halfway decent and I thought the actress gave it a lot of emotional depth.
i stick up for kitty regularly, i think the songs in "i accuse" are pretty good and i respect mary beth hughes, she gave it a good shot.

her last job was as a telemarketer in the 80s and 90s. so one of us may have hung up on kitty without even knowing it!

Wow, it makes you wonder how many amazing and interesting things have happened to you that you'll never realize.

Well, they were well-sung, but I think the Lyrics were atrocious.

I'm looking at you "Love Came Between Us" >_O

This is an all around classic MST to me (strong skits, riffs and a killer short!) I can always go back to this one and get tons of laughs (even if i do recite most of the lines).

Also this is a near perfect intro MST for showing friends what the show is all about.

Same here. Whenever I introduce another friend to the world of the MSTies, I always show them "I Accuse" first.

As someone that grew up with drinking parents, I can tell you the "She's Drunk!" "Tee-Hee, It's funny!" lines hit home.
My mom didn't show up places all blotto, but when I brought friends over, and she'd be passed out...

Still, I love the episode.
"Elaborate Lies..."
"His failure in Webelos" (I was in the Boy Scouts & Webelos)
Pinewood Derby?- mine came in last, if I recall correctly. LOL.
