List of Crap: Top 50 Cartoon (animated) Characters

I'm so glad to learn about the duo/trio/group ruling because that helps me get my list under 50. I find I'm having a harder time ranking them than eliminating them.

So did we decide that it's okay to have comic strip characters that became cartoons? Because there are like 5 on my list, all from the same franchise....

We're just doing 25, aren't we?

And I think he said that as long as they're legit cartoons and not machinama, you're good.

yes we are---that's what I meant. I have only so far been able to narrow it down to like 49. It's hard to eliminate at this point and get it down to 25.

Ah, I see. I suppose you could think in larger terms about "posterity" and whatnot to help you decide. My list was small enough that I said "screw that" and picked ones that meant something to me.

Come one people get those lists in...I think this weekend I may do a preliminary tally and start doing write ups for the characters and find the videos.. that way I'm ready to go a day or two after the deadline..

I just need to practice posting youtube videos. Everytime I try it doesn't work. even when i do the  Flash=400,400 in brackets

That's incidental, the important thing is to remember the right string for the address

Did you-reevaluate the deadline?

not yet. I'm going to see how many I get in between now and Sunday. If I get a few more in I'll leave it open. If I get almost no more I may just set next Wed. as the new deadline and move it up a week. That gives me a few days to tally and finish writing up all the info, finding and uploading pictures, etc. That way by the time Monday rolls around I can cut and paste the stuff and maybe to 10 a day for five days. Or I could do 8 a day for 5 days then the final 10 on the 6th. add a little suspense...

What do you think is best:

8 slots a day for 5 days and the last 10 on day 6

or

10 picks a day for 5 days.


I may also start the list with a Top 10 Honorable Mentions and do the top 10 that missed the Top 50.. set up a tease before the main list...

I think any division of five is good. I wanted to do 10 a day for five days but it was more like the other way round.

I like the idea of the "honorable mentions" and such to start the list, and I think either 5 or 10 a day is a good number.  I usually tried for 5 in the AM and 5 in the PM.
