Now, would duos count as one person? Like, say, Batman & Robin, or WALLACE and GROMITT?  Wink
Batman is often seen separate so they are separate. Rocky and Bullwinkle, Wallace and Gromit, Beanie and Cecil, Hank and Dean Venture, all count as one since they are rarely separated or considered separate.

I'd agree on Batman being separate. He's best when he's a loner.

Moved up the deadline by a week and a half and added more to the rules...

got about 6 lists so far.. Plus mine which is slightly still being worked on a tiny bit..

Surprised by only 2 anime listed thus far (in addition to my 1 entry). Lots of classics and some recent stuff. Little in the way of 80s toons.

I expected some entries to get several, yet I'm the only one who mentioned them? Wow.. Some are fairly big names too....

How about Adventure Game characters? The likes of Guybrush Threepwood or Klayman that never had their own cartoons but starred in Video Games that were practically cartoons.

Working on my list.  Hubby wants to send one too but since he's not on here I told him I'd consider some of his with mine.  Grin  Will try to get in turned-in tonight.

My celebrity crush (one of them anyway!)

- comic stip/print only do not count.

One of my top picks started as a comic strip, but was in plenty of animation eventually.

- Duos: They count as one if they are normally thought of as together all the time. Hank and Dean Venture, Beanie and Cecil, Tom & Jerry, etc. Batman and Robin no because Batman is often seen with out  Robin.

I didn't read the "Updated" rules before submitting my list.  Now I guess I need to amend my list.  I have two duos split up into 4 spots on my list.  Personally I think it should be individual characters only.  But I guess that is just me.

I think it makes sense only if the characters make -sense- without each other.  But what does Tom do without Jerry?

List sent. Boy, this one was hard not because I didn't have enough entries and had to reach, but because I had too many and had to pick and choose. Love lists like this.

Sent mine in last night. Didn't take too long, I thought up my choices pretty quickly (and have yet to have the "Oh damn, I didn't include ____" train of thought). Here's hoping my #1 gets lots of love Smiley

Do Timon and Pumba count as one? I wanna include Timon, but I was going to leave off Pumba. Does Pumba get an automatic vote if I include Timon?

Mine's in!!

Once again I fear I have many that others will not select, but I'm really looking forward to seeing the countdown and lists afterwards!

Pretty sure the character that I forgot on my initial submission won't make the final list.

I'll post one of their cartoons when we do the personal reveals at the end. Smiley

They were on a Robot Chicken spoof (good episode, that one), so maybe they still count Tongue

Also: Damn, I forgot Danny from Cats Don't Dance. I feel ashamed >_>
