I've noticed usually late morning PST, though some (like Empire Strikes Back) came out like first thing in the morning.

The best thing to do is to put yourself in the frame of mind that the Rifftrax will not be released on the given date, but on the day after, early in the morning.  A little reframing goes a long way.

Well, I mean, Red Dawn is most likely the most requested Rifftrax ever.  It's been sort of a standard joke, I think, for people to guess that the next one would be Red Dawn.  For the longest time, you couldn't even write "Red Dawn", because it was suggested so much--one of the moderators put in a language filter to automatically change it to "That Movie".

I think that now that it's finally here, the people who really truly super duper wanted it are all antsy and waiting.

I also think that if they ever do Dune, RVR is going to drive straight to Rifftrax HQ and camp out for several days, then start pounding on the doors at midnight the day of the release.
