The reference to "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank" was brilliant.

And the fact that there was (to my recollection) only one, they got it out of the way right at the start, was fun. Anybody else would have done tons of them, that's why these guys are a class of there own.

I'll admit I was expecting more Overdrawn jokes, but I wasn't dissapointed that they weren't there. I will point out that there is one repeated joke and a running joke in a similar vein as a single joke in Overdrawn though:
"Don't Bogart that cigarette"
And the running joke about Bugs Bunny.
Both got big laughs from me.

I rented the blue ray of Casablanca for the Rifftrax and tried to watch the Carrotblanca short on it. I didn't get more than a few minutes in before I turned it off. Horrible.

I agree, one of the worst things they've tried to wedge those classic characters into. It's on the two disc dvd I got from Amazon too. Only laugh I had was Daffy as Sam at the piano, and that's just because it gave me memories of him and Donald on dueling pianos in Roger Rabbit.

BTW....kudos to everyone involved for ignoring that Ilsa refered to Sam as "the boy playing the piano".
I think jumping all over these things (unfortunate as they are) just makes it worse.

just okay. I cannot believe people like this movie so much Right there with ya, buddy. This might just be the most overrated movie of all time. One thing I realized though that I never knew before because I never paid much attention to this movie was the fact that it came out in 1943. I never realized that it came out before the end of WWII. The filmmakers didn't even know who was going to win when they did it. I wonder if it would have been any different if it'd been made in, say, 1947. I suspect the Germans would have been more disrespected. Anyway, awesome Rifftrax. As for favorite lines, all the cigarette stuff was really funny as were all the German and French bashing riffs. My favorite line was "A French man who fights back? Oh my God, they found him!" LMFAO

LMFAO
I got a book on the history of newspaper comic strips and they reprinted a Blondie strip from the 30s and let me just say this about how they used to draw African Americans people in comic strips in the 1930s: OMFG! The media racism of the 30s and 40s has been largely forgotten these days.
