Once again this happens and once again I have to say, I think there should be a family friendly version, and an unedited version. Honestly, it's not that I have to have the word, I just don't want the beep, if they beeped out the word Chocolate Cheesecake I'd ask for the unedited version.

I Agree!

If there was more profanity, I'd enjoy the riffs a lot more, but, we know that probably won't happen Tongue

What if it was just muted instead of beeped out?

I agree that beeps stick out, but as long as they're used sparingly, I don't care.

What if it was just muted instead of beeped out?

That would take even more away from the humor in my opinion..

Well, if they don't want the word in the riffs then why is it in there?

If it were that big of an issue to leave that word out, don't you think MKB would have come to an agreement to leave it out of (the very few) jokes in which it occours?

I personally don't think that word is a big deal at all. In fact, I fucking love that word. All I'm saying, is on the checkout page, select edited or unedited. Default on edited I should think.

It's not how it's edited, it's that its edited.

Generally, based on what I know, I don't think they are actually "editing" anything, but that the beep is used more for comedic effect. Case in point would be Samuel L. Jackson's lines in SW... keep in mind I haven't seen Dinos yet myself so I'm not exactly sure the context it was used in this time.

I was going to ask the same thing. The beeped out Sam Jackson oscenities were hilarious in the prequel Rifftrax. But if it's just there and not an integral part of a joke it seems kind of pointless. I'll be watching this one over the weekend.

It is funny with the beep since they aren't intending to curse anyway. I like the added sound effects every once in awhile. My favorite being Bill blowing the foreshadowing penalty whistle in The Dark Knight.

Indeed, if it's there for comedic effect then by all means, but if it's just for editing, I'd like to be given the choice.

Actually, I don't think those are for comedic effect. The comedy beeps are the really long ones, or multiples of beeps covering whole sentences where the joke is that we have no idea what manner or caliber obscenity being utilized. This however is Bill saying "Shut the fuck up." And Kevin with the Samuel joke in Ep 3, we know what word was there, and it was beeped for a reason. It wasn't beeped in Saw because, well, it's Saw.

Again, would just like to be given the choice. And we're talking about what, maybe 5 riffs?

Personally, I think the beeps are very funny, but I do get what you're saying.  Especially since I just watched my first feature length Quiptracks and their beeps were VERY annoying and jarring.  They weren't edit beeps of course, but I feel you more than I would have a couple days ago.

Didn't Kevin say "This is horseshit" in the Battlefield Earth Rifftrax?

I've heard all of them say shit. It's just that elusive f bomb that hits the cutting room floor. But that's what I don't understand, if it's just going to get cut, why say it in the first place? Why not shut the hell up? Shut your stupid face? and so on?

EDIT: To clarify, I don't think anyone should say shut the hell up when they want to say shut the fuck up. I just don't want the beep. I don't know if I've said that.

I'll just chime in: I don't mind it at all, and I tend to swear like a sailor in real life. The beeps frankly tend to be funnier that actually using the real words.
