Depends, is it the actual captains duking it out while the crew fights with them, or is it a ship on ship thing? Since the latter is more a group effort (which I suppose would count, since that's the same equally matched thing as giant monster vs giant monster).
Is there a specific fight you have in mind?

Sent. SO much fun to piece together, but my list ended up becoming a love letter to a few of my favorite movies w/ a spattering of big-time favorite fight sequences within. I could've easily pieced together a Top-100 for this and am eager to see everyone's choice fight-cuts.  Darth Geek, send yours in!! EDIT: I just read this: -Gunfights are fine, but ones that are at least on a smaller scale, up close and personal affairs (so large-scale battles, war scenes, etc. are out. Sniper duels are acceptable).I so hope my #3 is acceptable as its one of the greatest things ever recorded on film. Technically, it's on a "smaller scale" from one perspective. |

Just sent my list in. I don't expect my number 1 to turn up on any other lists since it is from a movie that is not that well known. I had to rack my brains to fill out this list, and I know that I will probably think of ones that I forgot about. That's why I waited until almost the last day to turn one in. I'm happy with what I came up with for the most part. |
