Doctor Who - Runaway Bride. The wife and I are looking forward to watching a whole season of Martha in between the suck that was Rose and the ultra-suck that is Donna.

Started the Richard Sharpe series. We began by making fun of it, but once all the really interesting stuff started we shut up and just enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to watching the rest now.

Been watching through the first couple of seasons of Andy Griffith on DVD. Just starting the first disc of Season Three, and Gomer Pyle still hasn't shown up. I always thought he was around since a lot earlier. Now I'm starting to wonder if the whole character--including his spinoff and the existence of Jim Nabors himself--wasn't just a figment of my imagination.
I like that the DVDs have the original sponsor spots. Some delightful fourth-wall-breaking in those.

Ahem.
This is the theme to Garry's Show. The theme to Garry's Show. Garry called me up and asked if I would write his theme song. I'm almost halfway finished. How do you like it so far? How do you like the theme to Garry's show?
This is the theme to Garry's Show, The opening theme to Garry's show. This is the music that you hear as you watch the credits. We're almost to the part of where I start to whistle. Then we'll watch "It's Garry Shandling's Show". <whistles>
This was the theme to Garry Shandling's show.
Didn't like him on the Tonight Show or Larry Sanders but I did like him in this.

If you -really- want to avoid spoilers, also don't watch the episodes. They give EVERYTHING away.

I am currently watching Season 1 of Xavier - Renegade Angel on DVD (via Netflix).
This may be one of the most bizarre shows I have ever seen, but it is also very very funny.

if you havent watched the other seasons yet make sure you dont listen to the commentaries. As I said earlier (*then last page in fact ) Babylon 5 season one episodes 1-8 Great stuff as I remember it being. The little bit about the ant's on the orchid from episode six is still one of my favourite scenes in the entire show, it's certainly one that I remember the most. It is sad seeing Richard Biggs though; he's right up there with Andy Hallett as somebody in a sci-fi/fantasy show whose death was untimely and really really saddened me (and both were due to similar problems). I don't normally bother with special features on a disc though.

I love the show in B&W, but once it's in color it loses its wimsy, overall---there are some gems, i.e. when they make a movie about Andy with Gavin MacLeod, when Don Knotts comes back---but the B&W eps are the best. Just finished "John Adams". Also watched MST3K "Final Justice." "Go ahead on."
