I don't know if anyone saw this elsewhere but my computer crashed and I've lost everything riff related. Hopefully I'll be able to get it up and running again in a few weeks.

Computer is fixed (well kind of, I'm still having some issues with it). I'm working on some photoshop stuff for someone else. I'll be finishing up the Lost City short which I'll have recorded for the 3rd time now and then this'll be the first full lenght one I work on since I don't have the frustration factor since I hadn't actually recorded anything. Please feel free to continue submitting jokes if anyone still wants too.

Any chance Mad Max May gets done before May 2010?  Not trying to push you Raven because I know you've had understandable issues and previous obligations to fulfill but it would really put my mind to ease if you kept us up to date on any developments. |

I've tried to contact Raven on what the situation is with this and haven't heard anything back. Odd because every time I check his profile it says he was on some time earlier in the day. As of this post, he was on last time at 6:29 PT today so I don't know what the deal is. I've talked to SJP about the possibility of taking over the recording of this with him somehow if we don't hear back from Raven but both of us would strongly prefer we let him do it as planned if we knew he'd get to it eventually. I did manage to get in touch with Ayriana back on Aug 15 and here's what she told me.. Hey RVR, Raven's main computer took a crap and we couldn't get back any of his files for the mad max stuff. Also, he has been really busy lately with wedding planning since they are getting married in about a month. I'll let him know you guys are all wondering about him and that he should stop in and say hi. But yes everything is alright with him  -Kate ..Not sure why he's not posting here or responding to PM's if he is visiting..  |

Just making my monthly reminder post.
At some point, if Raven never comes back from the dead, SJP and I might have to make this our second project. I'm still crossing my fingers he comes back at some point and takes back the project. But his last post was August 11th and the one before that July 10th.
Well if we did decide to record this one as well, don't worry, we'll still use everyone else's lines and give credit to all those who have contributed. This probably won't be for another month at the earliest though. I know a lot of people want to see a Mad Max riff and I now consider it my sworn duty to make sure the people have one. Even if I have to hunt Raven down and physically restrain him in front of his computer before he gets it done or lets someone else do it. OK maybe not that far but THERE WILL BE a Mad Max riff. Someday. I promise you.

Guess who just sent me back an e-mail: I returned from my honeymoon a few weeks ago, and I'm responsible for a charity haunted house that takes up all of my October. But come november 1st, I will find the time to get back to riffing and posting on the forum in general. I plan on doing my chapter in the Lost City riff first since it's only 20 minutes and the video is a little easier for me to edit quickly. I promise that Mad Max will be the first project I work on after that. I won't be posting on the forum until I have the short ready to go but please be reasured that I will get them finished. I do have a pretty heavy work schedule so I'm not sure how quickly I'll be getting to them but progress will be made. HE LIVES!!! And not only that.....HE'S GONNA RECORD IT EVENTUALLY!!!! |
