2) Laurant (black, dreadlocked, moob-showing vampire) says James is a great tracker and his hunting skills are beyond measure and he hasn't seen anything like him in his 300 years. Yet, for such a good hunter, he's captured and defeated pretty easily. HOW easily? EDWARD (Mr. Sparkle) defeats him.
Hey....maybe it's like that old joke...dogs chase cars, but what are they going to do with one if they catch it? Besides, tracking and hunting is one thing. Self-defense is another. BTW....did I mention that I learned that either the AMA figures that a medical license issued 100 or more years ago is just as good at one issued today....or it's really, really easy to get a fake one (and therefore get a job at a hospital and malpractice insurance - and they never check things like references).

I guess, at the very least, WHY WAS AN ANTAGONIST INTRODUCED IF HE IS EASILY DISPOSED OF AT THE END AFTER BUILDING NO TENSION?!!!!

They had an epic battle that only ended when the castle fell on them..... oh wait, that was "Frankenstein vs. The Wolfman"...... never mind.

I guess, at the very least, WHY WAS AN ANTAGONIST INTRODUCED IF HE IS EASILY DISPOSED OF AT THE END AFTER BUILDING NO TENSION?!!!! Because he wasn't the source of the tension once Bella was bitten... Was she going to die? Was Edward going to make her a vampire? THE WHOLE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND BELLA! DON'T YOU KNOW THAT???

I learned that teenagers are the palest things on the planet. Albinos thank god they are not as pale as these kids. Good god.
I also learned that teens are angsty, emo, bored, and are never happy..

BTW....little slow on this...
Evidently, airline security is such that you can't take bottled water on board a plane but they'll let you bring a cactus plant with you with all of it's needles still intact....and then there's some states that won't let you bring plants in....
But this is Bella after all.
I learned that Bella doesn't like "cold, wet things" but later she'll find Edward's cold marble touch exciting....

Good catch with the cactus. Yes, but, his is a cold, dry touch. It's not the lack of heat, it's the stupidity.

Thank you, PSCD. I was wondering what I should have for a snack after I get off work; now, I'm no longer hungry.

Yeah...why doesn't absorbing that into her system start the change over to vampire for her? Then again, we're looking for logic from these books....

Why are we still talking about the plot to Twilight. It was written by a stupid sexist for stupid sexist. It's like trying to figure out the plot logic to The Room. The person behind it always wins because there is no logic and we just go mad trying to figure out something that isn't there.
