Alright. I've seen these DVD covers a lot. I know that Twilight is one DVD I could NOT have without advertising my feelings about it VIA a humorous DVD cover.

Soooo, here's my question.

How the gremplork do you print out these frelling DVD covers so that you can actually put them on the DVD?

No matter how I do it, they always wind up being too big.

Basically, you need legal-sized paper (8.5"x14"). I used to have the same problem. I'd use a label-printing program (I currently use exPressit) to make a DVD cover and then it'd get cut off.

I gave up on the disc covers. I tried using adhesive paper covers, but they mess up the disc by putting it off balance and/or making it too heavy. I don't currently have a printer that will print on the discs themselves and don't have the scratch to buy one.

I use legal paper too.  I go down to the local copy shop (I boycott Kinkos due having been treated VERY rudely MANY times by the employees, and NO customer service whatsoever) and ask for legal paper, laser printed, and NO "fit/stretch to margins"

Hmm . . . I just use my home inkjet. Basically, you have to make sure the image will print no bigger than the cover's target dimensions (10.5" to 10.6" wide according to the guide) using a photo editing program. As I said, I use label printing software to make my covers, so all that's done for me. You can find a free one (CoverXP) at http://www.coverxp.com/main.asp if you don't happen to have one.

Everybody's given good advice. If you continue to have problems... feel free to ask in this thread so we don't go too off topic here on this.

I found some sort of perforated paper at Staples; it was like a DVD Label making kit or something.  I can't remember exactly who made it though.  It was somewhere around the area where they sell DVD-RW discs and DVD cases.

Very nice indeed. Did you had a hard time placing them?

Nice design. Loved the hands holding the bomb.... and the many faces of bella/edward. Kinda scary!

Thanks, Piobman!

Funny thing about the bomb, i wrapped an apple texture around the bomb. It was orignally going to my front cover, but i ended up redesigning it.  Though the Bella/Edward blank stare collage was my plan since i first watched that stinker....
