Yeah, I can't play the guitar, and the drums don't offer you the option of leaving off the foot-pedal, so all I really need to get started is microphones.

New Moon on Friday and Rifftrax through the night

Oh, GB?

There's a strong, strong rumor right now that the first Rock Band (for PS3 and 360) will be on sale on Black Friday for $50.  The good news? That's $50 for the game and instruments. The bad news? It's at Walmart and BF at Walmart.... well, you know.

Assuming the Pawn Shops are okay in your town... They're the best place to look. I picked up the Guitar Hero World Tour bundle for 35 dollars! Thats wireless drums, guitar, mic, usb hub, and PS3 game.

Don't know how long this has been around since my Wii hasn't been hooked up for months, but due to the internet channel now being free, Nintendo is giving you a 500 point game. I used mine to get the first Zelda.

Allegedly, at Old Navy, if you buy at least $20 worth of merchandise on Black Friday, you'll receive a copy of Lego Rock Band.

Edit: Here's the scan from their ad flyer:

I don't know why, but the way it's worded makes it sound like just a promo or demo disk.

My wife works at Old Navy, so I heard about this over a week ago. It's the full game, but the game only, no controllers or anything, and it's only the PS3 version. I'm not bothering with it myself, since we don't have a PS3.

Duh! Get it, then trade it in on a 360 version.

Yeah, I'm thinking that's what we'll end up doing. Then we'll head to the Wal-Mart out in the little nothing college town sort of nearby that my wife used to live in because all the students will be gone for the break and the store will be way less busy than the local one.

Ugh. After checking the store locator, there's not an Old Navy on this side of town. And driving around on BF, well, that's not appealing.

Anyway, more importantly, here's the XBL deals of the week! (Nov 23-29)
Quote
Deal of the Week continuously delivers more fun to Xbox LIVE Gold Members for less, so take advantage of these stellar deals the week of November 23: Fable II: See the Future (Microsoft Game Studios) will be available for 400 Microsoft Points,
Peggle (PopCap Games, Inc.) will be available for 400 Microsoft Points, and
Death Tank (Snowblind Studios, Inc) will be available for 800 Microsoft Points worldwide.

And the week of November 30, download Sonic The Hedgehog™ 2 (SEGA) available for 240 Microsoft Points worldwide (except India.)

Peggle for $5. Buy it! Even if you already own it, buy it again! It's just that good!

Well, Grand theft Auto IV for the 360 was $10 at Amazon... but it sold out in 90 seconds.

Good price though.
