I installed the rifftrax player on my 64-bit Vista and when I try to open it an error message pops up that says "Class not registered".  I uninstalled and tried again, same message.  Then I read around on here a bit and saw a tip that recommended clicking "Run as Administrator".  Tried that, but the same message comes up.  Can anyone help me?

I click okay, and the player's tab is open in the taskbar, but no player, and nothing happens when I click it.

so even when you're running the program under the administrator's settings and the above happens, it doesn't open?
weird.
maybe you should...oh hell, i don't know.  vista is so awful.  the player wouldn't work on my new laptop for a few days when i first installed it, then all of a sudden it worked (with the error still coming up though).
pray to mr b natural or something, that might help.  s/he's always there, inside of you!

That explains those wierd CT scans.  I think I'll have that surgery after all.

I can't get the player to work at all.  I even tried downloading all the codec stuff as recommended in other threads.  Still nothing.  I keep getting an error that says class not registered.  I tried run as administrator.  Still nothing.  And everytime I try to open it, then get the error, is minimizes down into the toolbar and the only way to get ready of it is to end program through task manager.  I've tried reinstalling or correcting the install, but only received a ton more errors.  I tried completely uninstalling, but nothing happens and I have to end program through task manager again as it won't respond.  I tried restarting, nothing.  I eventually got the audio to play through windows media and watched the DVD on my DVD player but it never synched up.  the audio riff kept getting ahead of the movie.  I have to keep pausing for a second or two every couple minutes.  (movie is twilight- I see others have had problems too).  I have Windows Vista and my laptop is brand new- about 3-4 weeks old.   Any pointers would be most welcome.  At this point, as much of a fan as I may be, I am too frustrated to get any more products.  Not worth the headache.
