Well after installation of various media server programs, beta testing the new Windows 7, watching an MST3K of Hobgoblins, and now recently having purchased a PS3 I thought I might make a suggestion. I did a very limited, read only looked at one page, of a search for this and have not seen it mentioned.
Would it be possible to enable the rifftrax player to also function as media server? I know for certain the video can be streamed to, lets say a PS3, but I believe the riff audio file and video of the DVD would need to be transcoded which would allow, I believe, all the settings to remain for riff ducking and so forth without the pesky need to convert all those Roadhouse DVD's.
So far I've had the most success with
http://ps3mediaserver.blogspot.com/ and my PS3, which offers a lot more versatility for various file types than the standard Windows Media Player and Media Center. I was thinking something similar to this would greatly benefit the rifftrax player. Thoughts or feedback?
