Yeah I've played about with making riffs but they're much more fun with other people involved and that's the key thing, the fun part.  |

I think the key here is Isaac's absolute conviction that he is literally gifted at everything: movies, music, iriffing. He seems incapable of even conceiving--much less admitting--that he may not be good at something. That's a serious problem. Perhaps his mother should pull her tit out of his mouth and smack him around and let him cultivate some humility. |

You tried his iRiff of Howard the Duck? I just watched the "funnier" sample and it's painful. That just proves that you've never watched it. I don't care how unfunny Isaac is, I WAS GREAT ON THAT RIFF! |

May I opine that producing iRiffs just for the $1000 is a bit "Dark Side"-ish? Don't get me wrong, I sure could use $1000, but putting so much into it that getting a few sales and sharing your work only upsets you because you want to be the best of the best doesn't seem too constructive. Honestly, I didn't like the idea of a contest. You'll get people who aren't in the Top Ten thinking they should be, and people in the Top Ten who don't win thinking they should have.  BTW, Shorts + Solo + (Name != "Josh Way") = Contest Lose Anyway, that's my two cents. Now lets all get riffing, buy each others stuff, then party!  |
