This is my first time on this site. I bought a whole bunch of riffs and installed the player. However when ever I go to load my downloads Its says the player is not responding. It also says this...A connection with the server could not be established. However I do not seem to have any internet server probs. I do have windows vista, but I told the player to run as administrator. What should I do?

A problem seems to have developed with the player after the last patch a couple of days ago.

Apparently,  their best brains (in jars) are working on a solution now.

Ok and would this be something different cause now its saying it is responding but I get this error message...

An exception was raised on the server: Access violation at address 004048B6 in module 'ComX.exe'. Read of address 000FAFE9.

what the flip does this mean, is it just that the player isn't fixed yet?

I get that error, too, but when I click past it, Rifftrax works fine. Does that work for you?

Moo.

Yeah you should be able to click OK or Cancel on any of these error messages and have the player work normally. That's at least what we discovered while working on a fix for this issue.

These issues are generally server-based, meaning there's nothing wrong with your application, it's just the server that we are currently using to host riff and player information. In the meantime keep telling us when something happens that prevents the player from working - in other words, there is no need to post if you're just getting an error message but the player still works. If the player does, in fact, hang then we need to know about it.
