To pad out the series a little more (which I downloaded a little while ago and enjoyed), they should add Richter's other season one cancelled show Andy Barker PI.  That only lasted 6 episodes, but I thought it was promising.

Never heard of that, but yeah it'd be nice.  Was that another Fox show?

Poor Andy Richter.  He's really funnier than Conan, he just can't catch a break.

I heard good things about that series but it's an NBC show, not a Fox show. Maybe if Universe sells well, NBC/Universal will get the hint and release their own Andy Richter DVD. There's a rumor that it's already being planned. The complete series could take up one disc for pete's sake. There are also several rumors in Universal City about Andy Barker PI possibly getting picked up again for new episodes, so maybe there's hope.

ARCTU was 2 seasons I believe.

Quintuplets was his other 1 season cancellation.

Wait, the characters he played on Arrested Development had a show? I never heard of that one.

Ah, it said 19 episodes on imdb, so I assumed it was just the one.

No, he was a father in this show.  The quintuplets were his teenage kids.

Yes that was pretty good, but I knew it was doomed from the first episode, he doesn't have all that much luck.

http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Andy-Richter-Controls-Universe-The-Complete-Series/11155

Yesterday Paramount Home Entertainment announced the long-awaited, highly-anticipated DVD release for Andy Richter Controls the Universe - The Complete Series. We've now gotten new info about this March 24th release. It will be a 3-disc set that not only contains all 19 episodes from the show's two-season run (including five that didn't air during the show's original broadcasts), but it will contain bonus material as well.

There will be Featurettes (details to be announced) as well as Audio Commentary on select episodes by Andy Richter and show creator Victor Fresco. Pricing is $39.99 SRP. We've also learned that the "full screen" video aspect ratio provided in the original studio info could possibly be incorrect, and that this may in fact be widescreen. We're looking into that, so stay tuned. For now, here's an awesome look at the front of the package:

I just watched every episode not too long ago, both of those ladies in the show are quite attractive and had great characters.

I'm pretty sure the show wasn't in widescreen, so I don't know if I'd like them messing with that just because they can. Like those stupid cropped Evil Dead DVDs.

I don't think anything on US TV was in widescreen in 2002.
