Okay, I noticed some talk on other boards about menu makers and such. So if anyone needs a menu for their DVD, here is mine for free. The menus are in PSD (photoshop) format. This seems to be pretty standard for a lot of menu makers out there (I use DVDLab Pro). All layers are intact for easy modification. Additionaly, I have a Standard Full Screen version and a Widescreen version for all hidef tv guys out there.

Note: if you are only using rifftrax (or blame society) you can easily delete the layer within the psd file to your preference.

Man... I wish people would make these for all the Rifftrax.

In some of my earlier rifftraxes, I even redid the scene selection menus with custom headings (while using the original dvd menus). Just didn't have time to put that much effort into the new rifftraxes. Especially since I've been working on the covers. I guess no one else has any custom dvd menus of their own to submit. I never figured anyone here actually uses the menus but me.

I'd like to use menus, but haven't put in the work to make them yet.

At one point I started to do menus and scene selections because the chapter stops in the readme files are usually pretty funny I used this one on a few. I liked using Disembaudio for the button selection.

On my original Road House there was a secret button. If you highlighted Swayze's mullet and pressed enter it went to a clip of the Swayze christmas song from MST.

Maybe I'll take a dip into this.  I did once make a friend of mine a custom Spongebob DVD using a bunch of AVI files I plucked from the Internet.  I forget which software I used, but it wasn't that hard.  I used sort of generic backgrounds though.

For my favorites, I do full DVD authors, with menus and all, and even an animated opener for the disc as well as some edited video to accompany their intro (these are the same ones that get DVD cases on my shelf instead of just a pocket in a folder).  But the bulk of mine just get the mix-and-dump-onto-disc treatment.
When I do a full re-author, I'll use actual screenshots for the chapter stops, and don't use the funny chapters from the readme file because they're typically too long.

(The first DVD Menu post that I didn't start Tongue   )

I used Piobman's as a baseline.  That is to say, I used the background and stripped out the layers.

I also added in both Rifftrax and the Blame Society riffs.

Music is the famous Star Wars theme, two different segments used for main and chapter menus, like I did with the other Star Wars movies.  There were a heck of a lot of chapter stops here too.

I have all the necessary tools to make menus, but with cover making and such, its kinda  just one more thing to do when reauthoring.  Personally. i just cut the intro out & save it, make a small video of it with the product poster, and add it as the first title, then it goes straight to the movie.  Still, i've seen a lot of your menus, and they do kick major ass....
