My feelings about the riff itself aside, I can't wait for them to do something else so I never have to see that hideous Mike/Luke bobble head again. This has got to be the worst one

This has got to be the worst one Looking at a hideous bobble head again would be worth it for a riff of Return of the Jedi, I soo wish they would skip Empire and jump to Return, especially the "enhanced" version with all the extra animal burping added in for our "enhanced" viewing and listening pleasure....

Why do you even need to look at the front page if there's no new riff? You can bookmark the forum. You worthless pile of human GARBAGE.

I think you've got that backwards. Star Wars came out first. It would just be SILLY to refer to something that came AFTER it.

In all seriousness, it IS sort of backwards to make references to D-un-E during Star Wars, since that movie was clearly put into production because of its similarities to Star Wars. Even though the book came first. If they do D-un-E, I'm sure it will be full of Star Wars references, whose absense would be the greater crime.

Well, I think it would've been funny.. Even a Sand worm skeleton, but the Falcor reference was hilarious

I finally did get this rifftrax and... I felt a little insulted. I felt like I was being slapped in the face during the whole riff. Star Wars isn't just one of the greatest science fiction epics of all time but it's one that I personally hold very close to my heart because it was the first movie I ever saw. What bothers me is lines from the rifftrax like "This movie Blows". I guess it was a joke or could be interpreted as sarcasm, but I feel like Rifftrax is trying to alienate me by basically saying "So you love this movie huh? Well screw you anyway!". Please don't misunderstand, I don't expect them to say things like "Wow, that movie was great", but I would think that rifftrax would not want to alienate people like me who really love this movie by saying really stupid things like "this movie blows". Maybe it's hypocritical to not trash one movie as badly as another, but from listening to all the different rifftrax that I have so far, there is definitely a tone implying that they prefer to watch one movie over another.

but I would think that rifftrax would not want to alienate people like me who really love this movie If they went by that motto then they wouldn't be able to riff any movie, every movie has it's hard core fans. I'm sure even a stinker like "The Room" has some people out there that think it's great. You should have expected them to do something like that, they like to do it to any movie that has a rabid fan base....

Yeah, but having riffed movies that actually were painful to sit through, you'd think that they'd appreciate Star Wars a bit more. Of course, I haven't listened to the riff yet, but that's just my gut reaction.

I've watched Episodes 4, 5, & 6 riffed multiple times and I thoroughly enjoyed them

You should listen to it, it's a great riff, they really don't rip on the movie itself that much, it's maybe a little more harsh than say the first Indiana Jones movie riff. I thought it was pretty funny and Star Wars is one of my favorites. Don't judge it by riffs taken out of context.
