Hey all, I think I am nearing having everyone on board for this new crossover iRiffs project I have been talking to people about so here's the formal announcement.
Beginning in January a different iRiffer will take on a chapter of the old serial, "The Lost City" which can be found on archive.org and other sites.
I have iRiffers signed up for all but one chapter, chapter 9. If someone is interested in taking it please send me a message here to let me know. For those who signed up, please take note of the changed schedule. I pushed it back a few weeks to give people more time to get theirs written and recorded.
To answer a few questions, there doesn't need to be any outstanding continuity between episodes. One of the nice things aboutt his is it gives us a chance to show off our own styles and techniques. Go ahead and put your intro on if you want, if you want to do sound effects you can do that, if you have a "shadowrama" style you want to use go for it. The only thing I think we might want to do is come up with some sort of little insignia or logo with the chapter number in it to put on the poster to denote that it is part of the series. Something like this...

...only more artistic than I made that.
I will be keeping up with people with any changes via email to let them know the specifics of stuff and to harass you about your chapter being done on time. You can email me at
millionbps@hotmail.com to get in touch with me.

Andrew asked about prices. Set the price at whatever you want. I am setting mine at a buck like my other twenty-five to thirty minutes VODs, I wouldn't think that any more than that would be reasonable.
Another note to iRIffers. If you use the archive.org file make sure to use the 512Kb MPEG4 file not the MPEG2 file. Those are enormous. Alternate source for films:
