I was at Wal-Mart today and saw that the "The Stand" miniseries is back in print (in a combo pack with The Langoliers and The Golden Years).
So yeah, so someone riff that - all 6 hours of it.

Maybe HorRIFFic Productions and Cinester Theater could do a crossover riff on it. That worked out well for "Stephen King's It".

I'm actually reading "The Stand" for the first time right now (about 600 pages in). This is amusing, considering that while we were working on the "IT" riff, I was actually reading "IT" for the first time as well.

Bronsan Pinchot even did local ABC network affiliate promos for that in character. Looked realllly bad even then. Plus the final shot of the whole thing is a joyous group freezeframe, where one of them is doing a Toyota 'Oh what a feeling to ride!' style leap. King should've called it Richard Bachman's Langoliers, then pasted Richard Manuel's picture all over the commercial spots just to keep himself distanced. Also Balki stabs a lil blind girl.. not cool (not really Balki though).

Has anybody else seen "It's Magic, Charlie Brown"? It was on the same disk from Netflix as Great Pumpkin (good iRiff, by the way), and it would make for some excellent riffing material. Snoopy is downright evil in parts, and Charlie Brown becomes invisible, but noone cares.

I loved this one!..It's where Snoopy botches a magic trick when he puts Charlie Brown in the Calgari booth, and turns him invisible so he's able to punt the football from that lil bitch Lucy. Plus we get to see Snoopy's under-doghouse lair which as a kid I thought was so cool ! Plus-plus I love the ending. Sally's great in it too. "Is this your ballllllll?"

Since we had to buy "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", we have a copy of the "It's Magic" one now too, so there's a pretty good chance we'll end up riffing that one at some point. We're going to try to get the Waterworld riff finished by the end of the month, and then we have a semi-Christmasy one coming out around Christmas time (not another Charlie Brown, but a full-length feature). At some point we're also planning to take a week or two off and watch a few more iRiffs (and probably an official Rifftrax or two), so we probably won't get to the "It's Magic" this year. Look for it early next year, I'm guessing.

Yes, I love this special simply because Charlie Brown FINALLY gets to kick the football away from Lucy. Charles Schulz said that old CB never got to kick the football, but he must have forgot about this. Warner Brothers has plans to eventually release all the specials on DVD, so there's plenty of material for you to potentially riff on. "Peanuts 1960's Collection" and "Peanuts 1970's Collection Volume 1" are already out there. The first two movies are also available on DVD. Paramount unfortunately still has the rights to all four of the feature films. I say unfortunately because Paramount has no plans to release the last two movies. Maybe Warner will eventually be able to buy the rights to those as well.

Somebody please riff Spawn! It's the perfect mixture of taking itself seriously and bad superhero movie that it would lend itself so well to this.
I will say that I love Leguizamo as The Clown, and some of the visual are kinda cool. But overall it's just so ridiculous.
