Damn it, Street fighter has been riffed? EEERRR I want to do Dragon Ball Evolution, but how about that?
I'm sure that there are customers who'd want to see riffs for both films. Do one first, then the other. Whatever floats your boat.

Quick opinion poll, ..I'm considering 3 cult classic films to i-Riff and am asking you the whole lot which of these might you consider renting to then justify buying an i-Riff of it. It's the dilema alot us go through when choosing the right movie , but sometimes the temptation to do a B-movie cult classic as compared to a widely available title can be right up there. For the KICKS!
Here's the three..
'Hercules in New York'
'Kiss Meets the Phantom Of the Park'
or
Brian Depalma's 'The Phantom of Paradise'
Mind you the choice of 'neither of these' is also welcomed as you'd be saving me alot of grief. I would have to endure ie: several 70's glam rock performances , a musical score by Paul Williams ,or Arnold Stang in general.
Lil help here. Thanks.

Of those three the only one I've seen is Hercules in New York, and I'd love to see it riffed.

'Kiss Meets the Phantom Of the Park' I saw this one on WGN way back in 92. It gets my vote for riffing, especially considering how KISS is currently being hammered into everything product-wise due to their new album (just saw some KISS M&Ms, for cripes sake!)

Will someone please riff The Gate? Hor-RIFF-ic Productions would be perfect (especially good material for Satan riffing), as would others like Cinester Theater or Quiptracks. I love this movie, it is such goofy fun, and has so much riffing potential.

KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park has, by far, the single greatest line of dialogue of any movie ever made. It is ripe for a riffing, but feast your eyes on this Shakespearean wonder, delivered completely seriously and deadpan by Peter Criss...
"Gene's brother is an only child."

Actually , I thought the best line was by Ace Frehley.. "Insufficient data, Star-Child!"

Sorry for the late reply, but my initial reaction was "any of these would probably be good". But today it occurred to me to check amazon, and I see that there are a lot of copies of Hercules in New York available, and selling for cheap! I'm sure KISS could use a good riff track, but at the prices I'm seeing at amazon there is no chance that I would pick that up. I hadn't heard of The Phantom of Paradise before, but in comparing the description of that to Hercules in New York, I think Arnold would be the more riffable movie. But The Phantom of Paradise does look quite riffable, and reasonably priced.

Looks like Herc in the Big Apple may be the one play here. Although the Depalma style has kinda grown on me with Phantom or Paradise. That one i may do at a later date.

I haven't ventured too far into iRiffs, but odds are I will buy that one.
