Just finished the Endless Setlist 2. I don't recommend doing it. For one thing, it reminds you of how many lousy songs there are in Rock Band 2. Secondly- 8 hours.
Well, off to ice my wrist...

I just "beat" Hotel Dusk Room 215. It's more of a novel, really, and a very good read.

Finally beat the end level of Killzone 2. No other part of the game took me more than a few tries to get past, but this end boss fight was hard as hell. Well, the actual boss was pretty easy, once I got to him....it's the 5,000 other guys that swarm out in front of him that I couldn't get through.

Though I'd beaten it before, I recently got the patch to get the trophies for Uncharted, and realized I would have to play through the game all over again. Much better this time around, though, since Crushing was already unlocked, and beating the game on the highest difficulty setting gives you the rewards for completing the other difficulties as well (I did this the hard way the first time; played through the game four times to unlock all the stuff).

I just finished Knights of the Old Republic II. My thoughts: Also, Master Vrook is voiced by Ed Asner. I didn't know that. I guess I was too focused on what a dick he was (in BOTH games). From now on, I shall refer to him as Master Cosgrove. "Hey, Revan! Want to go out for a snowcone?" " DO I!?"

You worded my thoughts on the game much more eloquently BBQ. I loved the game too.

The ending was my only beef. The journey was so worth it, though, that I had no real complaints all told. But then, I played through Super Mario 64 where the ending was

Resistance: Retribution. Really quite good for a shooter on PSP. The control scheme works well for not having that second analog stick. The only bad things I've read in reviews about it have been bad script/voice acting, which I partially agree with, and that the aim assist makes the game too simplified. You can turn aim assist off though (which I did). I'm working on the skill points now...some of them are pretty rough.

I just finished Knights of the Old Republic II. My thoughts:
I played it recently too. It's a great game, which honours the Star Wars universe, but seems more mature and reflective than anything the movies have done. There are some really great moments in the game too, like the murder investigation or the entire set of missions on the ancient Sith homeworld. Yeah, the ending is a kind of "WTF?" but it's one of my favourites. And to think what they could do with that game now, with the kind of graphics that game deserves - oh wait, they're doing the MMO. *sigh* At least Mass Effect is similar enough. And Obsidian are working on their own game, called Alpha Protocol, which I heard was a "spy version of Mass Effect." It's out this year some time.
